United States and Russia, so far away yet so close

The section Languages of Oriente e Occidente delves into the theme of the encounter between the cultures of the world. This year, in line with the Festival's program, it focuses on the Russia-America comparison. Intellectuals, artists, historians, and journalists will analyze the relationships, contrasts, and exchanges between these two major countries through the lenses of economy, politics, religion, and information. Additionally, two days will be dedicated to the recently deceased figure of Pina Bausch, featuring testimonies, images, and film screenings.
