Le Iene: da 15 anni teniamo duro

Conferenza

Fifteen years ago, a program was born quietly that would change the way of journalism on TV and which hides a small mystery that is revealed in this meeting: what does Le Iene have to do with Berlusconi? Why Le Iene at Mediaset? Why, despite a thousand difficulties, do Le Iene still resist in a company so different from the one it was then? Davide Parenti, Enrico Lucci and Angelo Duro (the singer without an audience) reveal not only this, but also all the reasons and alchemy of a program that is still very successful today.

Davide Parenti, journalist and television author, initially a collaborator of L'Unità and the satirical weekly Cuore, became a television author in 1987, co-authoring Lone Wolf, Matrioska and L'araba fenice together with Antonio Ricci. At the end of the 1980s he collaborated with Mixer, made several True Stories for Rai 3 and many films for Mi manda Lubrano, A Thousand and One Women, Ultimo minuti. From 1990 to 2000 he made over 150 films for Scherzi a parte, all editions of Mai dire TV and Milano Roma, some editions of Mai dire gol, La sai l'ultima?, 2008, The twins, The killjoys, Barracuda, Escaped with the cash, I can quit when I want, Tourists by chance. He signed with Mentana for the first two years of Matrix. Since 1996 he has been the author of Le Iene, which this year reached its fifteenth edition.

Enrico Lucci began his career as a journalist, as a correspondent and television presenter for the local programming of the Azzurra network. In 1993 he joined the sports editorial team of TG3, where he hosts the in-depth program È' quasi goal and Anni Azzurri. In the following years he hosts Telesogni with Ferretti and Broccoli, a television criticism program. The most important experience of his career came with his entry into the Italia 1 program Le Iene in 1996. Also in 1996 he registered with the Order of Journalists. Despite the commitment and success achieved with Le Iene, Lucci continues to create sports reports for Rai: in particular in 1998 he was a correspondent for Il Processo on the Giro d'Italia, followed by the hosting of Scirocco on Rai 2, Feste on Italia 1 and Vacanze, a summer program of which he is also the author. On Italia 1 in 2002 he hosted the special program Lotta di Classe.

Angelo Duro, actor, comedian and singer, trained at the Accademia di Teatro Danza in 2004. In 2007 he made his theater debut with his first show Ri-animation.  In 2008 he toured many Italian cities with Partecipa Duro: no to smoking, alcohol and vices, a cabaret based on health issues. In 2009 he toured with Quando il gioco si fa DURO where he talked about how difficult it has become to make a living and how the Sicilian manages to move forward with the art of making do, through monologues and comic characters, a social satire of a harsh reality. In 2010 he presented his new show, Angelo DURO and The Pupi's Swing, the Cabaret Concerto which, with its Big Band, created in homage to the Sicilian puppets, brings comedy and music to the stage.
