This edition of Futuro Presente has an ambitious goal: to explore creativity.
It is difficult to define creativity, first of all, because it is in so many things and in so many fields. Creativity is transversal and has mysterious origins within man that have not yet been well explained and in some it is very much alive while in others it has languished for a long time.
Not being able to investigate all artistic and communicative fields, he decided to focus on one in particular: television. On TV, creativity is seen in moments, it comes and goes in flashes and sometimes disappears for long periods. Why? Who or what does it depend on? Is it a difficulty inherent in the medium or is there something else? Is creativity possible on television today? To arrive at some tentative answers, Futuro Presente is twinning for the first time with the Ideona Award organized by ANART, the National Association of Radio, Television and Theatre Authors. During the event, the major Italian television authors will meet the public to try to give some answers starting from the experience of their work. An opportunity to understand what happens behind the scenes of television programs, how they are born or how they are not born. Who creates the guidelines of television creativity? In addition to the authors, some of the protagonists in the videos of television programs, directors, journalists, critics and professionals will be involved. To explain that television reality is a much more complex phenomenon than what appears on the screen and that the flow is sometimes oriented, but often it is something that can only be supported.
