The 44th edition of Oriente Occidente Dance Festival is approaching! Would you like to join our staff for a curricular internship?

If you are at university and interested in the world of performing arts, communication, event organisation, send us your application!

You can join the production or communication office team to gain experience and discover the behind-the-scenes workings of a complex event such as the Festival.

Production Office
What will you do?

The production assistant oversees all organisational activities for the staging of events: care and management of relations with artists and guest companies, audience management and monitoring, direct contact with international artists and performers, and support in the production of national premieres and new co-productions.

What are the requirements?
  • desire to get involved in an educational and professional experience

  • good interpersonal skills

  • ability to adapt and work in a team

  • ability to interact with host companies and resourcefulness

  • organisational and problem-solving aptitude

  • good knowledge of English (knowledge of additional languages is appreciated)

  • ability to carry out assigned tasks independently and completely

  • punctuality and tidiness

When?

19 to 28 August 2024 Monday to Friday, approximately 6 hours per day.

29 August to 7 September 2024 8 hours per day.

During the Festival, flexibility is required to work evenings and weekends, while ensuring adequate rest!

The total number of hours is adaptable and will be agreed with you based on your curricular needs.

Communication office
What will you do?

Working alongside the head of the communications office in the following activities: updating the website, press review, drafting and sending out newsletters, collaborating in the management of the Festival's social channels, infoline, distributing printed materials, managing photo and video materials in the archives, drafting and editing texts, conducting and organising interviews.

What are the requirements?
  • excellent knowledge of written and spoken Italian

  • good command of the English language (B2-C1);

  • good knowledge of the Office package

  • familiarity in the use of the web;

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • aptitude for teamwork;

  • dynamism, autonomy, motivation.

The following skills will be considered preferential

  • familiarity with Photoshop and Indesign

  • familiarity in the use of email marketing tools

When?

19 to 28 August 2024 Monday to Friday, approximately 6 hours per day.
