From here, we started to immerse ourselves in the deeper and more debated dimension of the issue of "mobility." We did this by inviting experts, activists, and scholars from very different fields to discuss it, highlighting the need to read contemporary space—within which we can or cannot move—as a collective body in constant motion. Discussing "contemporary mobilities" involves our individual rights, the social well-being of our communities, and the geopolitical balances between different areas of our planet. This review, "Languages," offers reflections on how the pandemic has redefined the concept of mobility—both physical and virtual—amplifying social and economic vulnerability, especially for those who depend on mobility for survival. We then need tools that help us represent and interpret these mobilities, to understand and showcase this movement. In doing so, we can comprehend the present and narrate the world, giving it a horizon of meaning.
