Alighiero Boetti Erodiade - Hunger for Wind

Marinella Guatterini, Julie Ann Anzilotti, Gianfranco Maraniello and Denis Isaia

Marinella Guatterini, essayist and dance and ballet critic

In 1993, the story of the relationship between art and dance gains another chapter. Alighiero Boetti, already a prominent figure in the international art scene at the time, agrees to design the set for Erodiade - Fame di vento for Julie Ann Anzilotti. The revival of the performance, the opening of the related exhibition at Mart, and the publication of new pages dedicated to the collaboration provide an opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue. The Director of Mart, Gianfranco Maraniello, choreographer Julie-Ann Anzilotti, set designer Tiziana Draghi, art curator Denis Isaia, and dance critic Marinella Guatterini reconstruct, through biography and poetic weaving, the encounter between the two languages and the interpretation of the unfinished subject by Stéphane Mallarmé.

Event in collaboration with MART.
