TV Talk, the Rai 3 program, the critical eye of TV that reflects on itself, started on Sat 2000 in 2001 with the title Il Grande Talk and then continued on Rai, turns ten today. Ten fundamental years of television, the medium that perhaps best represents the history of Italy today on the anniversary of its 150 years of unity. It holds many surprises to revisit what happened on television ten years ago and follow its evolution up to today. The meeting with Massimo Bernardini and his authors allows us to understand not only how and how much TV has changed, but also how and how much our society has changed in such a short time.
Massimo Bernardini began a series of journalistic collaborations in the 1980s as a publicist in the music criticism sector at Radiocorriere TV, Famiglia Cristiana, Avvenire and the weekly Il Sabato. He then became responsible for the Entertainment Editorial team of the newspaper Avvenire, up to the position of editor-in-chief. On television he was an author and host for Rai 1 in the Dylan Special and The Pope in Bologna for the Eucharistic Congress in September '97; in Millennium, New Year's Eve 2000 from St. Peter's Square with the Holy Father, again for the same network he curated four editions of Rimini Notte-il Meeting, author and host of Roots and Betrayals and co-author in 2005 of Notte di luce... waiting for Sunday. For Sat 2000 in the 2001-2002 season he co-created and hosted the first series of Il Grande Talk, in collaboration with a group of students and teachers from the Catholic University of Milan, a program of which he was co-author and host until the fourth series, from the second edition resulting from the collaboration between Sat 2000 and Rai Educational. From this experience was born, from the 2005/2006 season, the new formula of TV Talk, the program on Rai Educational television on Rai 3. The 2010-2011 edition is underway, which, promoted on Saturday afternoon on Rai 3, has reached one million media viewers.
Furio Andreotti began his activity in the early 1990s by founding the Compagine theater group with Claudio Santamaria, Paola Cortellesi, Lucia Ocone, Libero De Rienzo and Massimiliano Bruno. As a director, he has signed numerous shows, presented at the major Italian festivals, including Herod's Ring, L'iradiddio, Zero and Gli Ulti Sara Ultimi, winner of the ETI - Gli Olimpici del Teatro award. He made his debut as a television writer with Gialappa's Band, collaborating on eleven different editions of the program Mai dire. Over the years he has been the author of programs for Rai, Mediaset, La7 and Sky. Among the numerous television experiences, Saturday evening shows such as Uno di Noi, with Gianni Morandi, musical programs such as the Concerto del Primo Maggio, reality shows such as La Fattoria, talk shows such as Cronache Marziane and TV Talk, entertainment programs such asQuelli che il calcio and Zelig. He was part of the writing team of two editions of the Sanremo Festival: the 2004 one signed by Simona Ventura and the 2007 one hosted by Pippo Baudo and Michelle Hunziker. Since 2000 he has collaborated with the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome where he holds a course for acting students.
Sebastiano Pucciarelli is the author of the television program TV Talk, broadcast on Rai 3 on Saturday afternoons. He collaborates with the Cattolica of Milan and with the Holden School. Graduated in Communication Sciences in Turin, since 2000 he has been a member of the European cinema network Nisi Masa, for which he held the position of president of the Italian association Franti – Nisi Masa. From 2004 to 2007 he collaborated with the international documentary film workshop Documentary in Europe. He organized seminars on television formats for the University of Turin, courses and film festivals in Turin and Biella.
Erika Brenna, a graduate in Educational Sciences and Letters and Philosophy, has been a professional journalist since February 2010. Since September of the same year she has signed the TV Talk program as an author, with which she has collaborated since its first edition. She is a lecturer in television journalism at the Catholic University of Milan, professor's chair. Giorgio Simonelli. He has been collaborating with the online newspaper www.daringtodo.com since November 2009. He signed the final evening of the Roma Fiction Fest 2010 hosted by Veronica Pivetti.
