La finzione dei reality, la realtà della tv

Reality shows are considered the emblem of fiction. For ten years, critics have trashed them but the public rewards them. And even the latest edition of Isola dei Famosi, perhaps the most authentic reality show around, has had great success in terms of ratings. Why? Because, hiding behind the plausible, reality shows explain how things really are. They are currently the best thermometer of the situation, for better or for worse. Two experts talk about both aspects, Giorgio Gori of Magnolia, a leading company in the production of reality shows, and Vladimir Luxuria, winner of the 2009 edition of Isola dei Famosi with the mediation of Paolo Giordano, journalist and collaborator of Il Giornale, correspondent in Sanremo since 2000 but also author, reporter - he was the first Western journalist to enter Kabul after the embargo - and, among other things, a judge on Music Farm. Giorgio Gori is a journalist and entrepreneur. After working at Rete 4 with Carlo Freccero, he began a professional career that led him to first direct Canale 5 and then Italia 1.

In 2001 he founded the television production company Magnolia, specialized in entertainment and infotainment products with important collaborations with the major national broadcasters. One above all "L'isola dei famosi".

The other guest, Vladimir Luxuria, participated in the Rai2 reality show. A graduate in languages, she first came to the cinema and then dedicated herself to protecting the rights of the GLBT community (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender). She has collaborated with numerous newspapers and radio stations as well as appearing on TV shows such as Costanzo Show on Canale 5 and Markette on La7. In 2006 she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies while she currently hosts a radio show on R101.

Daniele Battaglia, winner of the 2010 edition of Isola dei Famosi, will also participate in the meeting.
