With Il coraggio di stare, Tommaso Serratore concludes the project Corpo Pensante, a series of contemporary dance meetings aimed at exploring the concepts of journey and freedom with professionals and inmates, inspired by thoughts from the diary of Christopher McCandless and influenced by Sean Penn's film Into the Wild. “A choreographic documentary,” the author defines it, “a magma of images, lights, and bodies in motion, that brings to the stage that human impulse with which each of us relates to ourselves and to the world.”
