Teatro Ex Ati

Gli scordati

Giorgio Rossi (1960) is certainly a leading name in national art choreography, also appreciated abroad. He represented, among other things, Italy at the Biennale de Lyon with the title “Mediterranea”. From the time of the Teatro Danza La Fenice in Venice with Carolyn Carlson, in the early 80s, through the period of collective creations with the then company Sosta Palmizi, including “Il cortile” (1985) up to his activity as a first-person author with “Dai colli” and with the solos “Balocco”, “E la tua veste bianca”, and then with the successful “Piume”, Rossi has affirmed his unmistakable style of delicate poetry and profound lightness, as a white clown. Her new “Scordati”, adesso”, where Rebecca Murgi and Aline Nari appear among the performers, both dancers and choreographers of the latest generation - the first of “minute dances”, very short solos on herself, and the second of works where among other things she danced in pairs with Cristina Rizzo of Kinkaleri - aims to fish in all the memory of the world perhaps to forget that laughter and crying, inside and outside, here and elsewhere are one and the same thing. "I asked myself: is it possible to make a show that contains all the things in the world? The past, the present, the future? Where the performer's feelings pass to the spectator in a fluid and direct way and with emotion, arousing in him the deepest feeling about life and opening the doors to the infinity of existence? Where laughter and tears are one, where the meaning is necessary and absolute. In short, an extraordinarily complete show in all its aspects... Mumble, mumble (I think about it a bit)... NO!!!

Here are some words and elements that appeared in the first reflections of work: Three places: inside, outside, elsewhere.

They fit one inside the other.
