Manolo Perazzi entrusts an English word meaning "mixture of genres" to convey the emotional and physical state of his dance. This work of extraordinary intensity captures a man suspended between the real and the imaginary, between instinct and rationality, impulses and restraints, embracing Heraclitus’ principles of becoming and energy that continues even when it seems to hint at regression or a pause. Perazzi seeks control over his flow of actions and thoughts, questioning: in the ongoing process of becoming, does a person lose their identity? Or does identity emerge from continuous becoming? One thing is clear from the performance: the perpetual metamorphosis of the body.

Oriente Occidente is not just a festival. Its year-round activities also include artistic residencies aimed at national and international choreographers under 35. The project's goal is to provide support for creation — in terms of space and financial aid — and ensure visibility once the choreographic work is completed.
