Born in France, he studied in Angers at the Centre for Contemporary Dance and danced in the companies of Viola Farber, Josette Baiz, François Verret. He joined Pina Bausch's company in 1984. The first Tanztheater Wuppertal show in which he participated was 'Auf dem Gebirge hat man ein Geschrei gehort', where he distinguished himself with a small, memorable rock'n roll solo. An elastic, ductile dancer with extraordinary acrobatic skills, Doroure revealed himself as a choreographer to the international world with 'Pudique Acide', a 1984 duet, danced alongside Mathilde Monnier, was presented at the 1986 Avignon Festival.
Other creations include 'Extasie, Royal Stewart, Mama monday, sunday or always, Mort de Rire, Nuit de Chine, La Anquà, La Maison des plumes vertes and Cosmo Nox'.
Bausque, original and inventive. Duroure tells the game of existence in images with a theatrical fury and a sense of humour aware of the German choreographer's heritage. For Rovereto he creates an exclusive solo, accompanied by two musicians, Christophe Pottier, saxophonist, and Heriberto Paredes, pianist and composer.
