Applications are now open for professional and semi-professional performers interested in taking part in The Beauty of Imperfection, a project by Claudia Catarzi, developed within the spaces of the Mart Museum in Rovereto.
The selected artists will work together with the author to develop a performative session drawn from the original show, to be presented in an installative format with multiple repetitions throughout the day.
The Beauty of Imperfection originates from the observation of human postures those represented in artworks or assumed by visitors creating a bridge between contemplation and participation, between living matter and exhibited art.
The performance was selected through the D.Arte 2025/2026 open call, a project born from the collaboration between Oriente Occidente and the Mart – Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, with the aim of building a shared ground between choreography and museum practices.
Selection Day:
November 23, 2025
2:00 PM → access to the space for independent warm-up
3:00–5:00 PM → selection workshop
6:00 PM → conclusion
Work with selected performers:
November 25–26, 2025, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Rehearsal and in-depth work on the performance together with the artist.
Performance dates:
December 2025 → 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28
January 2026 → 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31
Several performers will be selected and will alternate across the different performance days.
€100 gross + VAT + employment registration
(Rehearsal days are paid)
