Nacera Blaza joins the dance world as a self-taught performer. She develops a type of choreography that gives rise to a true awareness of the body, of space and emptiness within itself through the repetition of the gesture, its infinite slowness, and the expansion of time.
The proposed workshop aims to question the ways of learning of both the professional dancer and the amateur. The challenge is to continue and nurture the relationship with the other and always acquire a new perspective on the scene. For this reason, the study process will see professionals and amateurs working separately for the first two days. In a second phase they will join together to build a short performance.
The work will be presented at Oriente Occidente Studio on Monday 14 November at 8 p.m.
