Studies on movement

Elena Giannotti

Elena Giannotti workshop | ph Sascha Chimenti

The main functions of the musculoskeletal system are those of supporting and protecting the human body, enabling its movement. An in-depth knowledge of bone, joint and muscle structures is crucial for anyone working with the body.

The practice of movement studies combines cognitive and conceptual understanding of anatomy and movement with a first-hand experience of doing and feeling. Movement and listening exercises will invite participants to explore the relationship between function and structure, while not excluding freedom of expression and creativity.

The workshop is part of the KNOWLEDGE section.
