The sensitive body. Being and its dance: origin and memory

Claude Coldy

Claude Coldy

The rediscovery of movement is a rediscovery of the body and its roots: the being that carries itself into the world does so by starting from an understanding of its deepest nature, rooted in the relationship with the essential elements of nature. In this backward journey, searching for an instinctive and pure memory, the danced expression of the self frees itself from all superstructures and reveals itself. Through the projection of documentaries that narrate the practices of Sensitive Dance in Nature, Claude Coldy will lead an open dialogue on the structures of Sensitive Dance and its applications.

Claude Coldy, a dancer and choreographer, has been dedicated to teaching since 1982, conducting Sensitive Dance® seminars in Italy and Europe, both in studios and in nature. Since 2003, he has been offering three-year training cycles in Sensitive Dance with the aim of preparing teachers for pedagogical and artistic transmission through the unique tools of Sensitive Dance®, an original research that originated in France in the 1990s (www.danzasensibile.com).
