The project Save energy. Dance more has been selected for the School-Territory call for proposals for networking projects between local realities and schools promoted by Fondazione Caritro Cassa di Risparmio di Trento e Rovereto.

Save energy. Dance more is an educational project for elementary school aimed at investigating and developing the theme of energy and sustainability through the pedagogical practice of educational dance. 

Educational dance is a methodology of learning and movement education, which deals mainly with the expressive and communicative aspects of the body. It refers to a natural form of movement, not stylistically codified, and tries to integrate spontaneity and organization through a different way of "doing, observing and inventing dance". 

The training is attentive to the formation of the person and not the dancer, and wants to bring children to make a creative body experience, in which to bring into play their emotions, their thinking, their creativity and imagination. Children have the opportunity to explore movement, making it more conscious, intentional, but also more effective in communication and more poetic. 

A virtuous challenge to involve in an active and direct way the children who will become protagonists of the educational path on the theme of energy, environmental protection and sustainability.
