The Defiant Heartbeat Of Gaza
Radio Gaza is more than just a band — it's an artistic project that unites Palestinian talents from Gaza: Watar Band, Abu Joury, and singer Moneim Adwan. Together, they reinterpret the Palestinian musical tradition, blending instruments like the oud and bouzouki with electric guitar, ancient percussion, and hip-hop rhythms. The result is a sound charged with the energy of rock and the force of activism.
This is a call to resist indifference — to give voice back to the people of Gaza, to refuse to passively watch images of massacred bodies, and to reject the silent witnessing of a people and their homes being erased. A group of associations, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rovereto, presents the preview performance at Oriente Occidente.
