Scale 1: Infinity is the performance co-produced by the Lanònima Imperial Company, Oriente Occidente, the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Municipality of Rovereto, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, and the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige for the inauguration of the new Mart headquarters, which will be presented at the Teatro Sociale in Trento on December 14 and 15, 2002.
Catalan choreographer Juan Carlos García draws inspiration from the creative energy of Italian futurism and particularly from the work of Fortunato Depero to create a piece in which five dancers and an actor humanize the scenic space with mechanical objects and perspective games.
At the Museum Hub, a study of this work will be presented, offering a comparison between the futurist provocation and the contemporary vision of the world.
