The step - School for the governance of the territory and landscape, based on a choice of the Autonomous Province of Trento, has the innovative objective of creating cultures and practices of particular depth for the protection and enhancement of the environment, territory and landscape. The step activities have been taking place for over three years and concern different levels of action: from the training of technicians, architects and engineers, to updating administrators and educational action with schools. Particular step objectives are to support the implementation of the Institutional Reform, of the Provincial Urban Planning Plan, which places the theme of landscape at the centre, and the enhancement of UNESCO accreditation of the Dolomites as a World Heritage Site.
Mauro Gilmozzi is Councilor for urban planning, local authorities and personnel of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
Ugo Morelli is President of the Scientific Committee of step - School for the governance of the territory and landscape of Trento and professor of Work Psychology at the University of Bergamo.
