Don Chisciotte

Travelling performance

A fierce gaze into the future, the determination not to give up, the unwillingness to settle for compromise. Falling, sometimes. In a world where deception is common, individualism is a religion and the most cunning prevails, Don Quixote is the hero of truth. He teaches us that fragility is possible and that rolling off a horse does not mean losing, but only learning to get back up. After enchanting us last year with Moby Dick, Teatro dei Venti is back, celebrating Don Quixote in its own way: stilts, live music, and theatrical machines in the streets and squares of the city, for a dreamlike journey that encourages us to go back to our true desires.
