Two Italian actors, Enrico Masseroli and Maria Teresa Buttarelli, who have been studying with Djimat for several years, want to offer testimony of their research with the master. Descendant of a family of artists, he began dancing at the age of 5, a child prodigy, in the island's ceremonies. Among his teachers was the famous I Made Mario.
In recent years, he has made Balinese dance known throughout the world, appearing as a soloist on numerous tours in America, Japan, Australia and Europe.
