Approssimato per difetto, la Bibbia di un non credente

“I frequent the sacred writing every time I wake up, I remain a repeat non-believer. In those pages the founding act of monotheism is consumed, the will for an ineradicable revelation. There the temperature of truth is incendiary, that book is the burning bush, which burns without being consumed.”

These are the same words of Erri De Luca, one of the most appreciated writers in the Italian scene, to introduce the theme of the encounter, that is, the approach to the Bible of a non-believer through a direct relationship with the original text. Over the years, some published translations have been born, such as Exodus/Names, Jonah/Iona, Kohèlet/Ecclesiastes, The Book of Ruth.
