Man has the fundamental right to freedom, equality and adequate conditions of life, in an environment of a quality that permits a life of dignity and well-being, and he bears a solemn responsibility to protect and improve the environment for present and future generations.

- Declaration of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment

Oriente Occidente puts in place different actions to reduce the negative impact on the environment: one of the values of Oriente Occidente is the desire to leave a positive legacy to the community and to the world.

Never as lately we realized how much care for our health is connected to the respect for nature and love for our planet. Also for this reason, we have strongly reduced the production of paper promotional material and adopted some measures aimed at reducing the impact on the environment.

We invite our audience and all our artists to reduce their waste production and sort it accurately, to drink tape water, to move on foot or by bicycle or taking public transportation.

In collaboration with REDO we have recycled advertising materials from past editions of our Festival to create unique bags, backpacks and cases.

The staff t-shirts, supplied by Sadesign, are made of organic cotton and we move from one location to another with bicycles made available thanks to a collaboration with Ruota Libera which also guarantees that during the period of Oriente Occidente Dance Festival some bicycles will be made available to guests and artists.

All the energy used by our activities comes from renewable sources and certified "100% Clean Energy Dolomiti Energia", our exclusive partner for sustainability.

For all these reasons, lately Oriente Occidente Dance Festival is certified with the environmental quality mark Eco-Eventi Trentino.
