In September Oriente Occidente Dance Festival will return with its 41st edition, the second marked by coexistence with the pandemic. 

We are updating on everything there is to know about the new regulations, reading protocols and waiting for clarifications and guidelines. Everything is still changing, so this page will be constantly updated.

In theatres the available seats will be half of the regular capacity, but in some cases we will repeat the shows several times so that more audience can attend, but we need your responsibility and cooperation.

According to Italian Law No. 105 of 23 July 2021, fromt the 6th of August 2021, only those with a COVID-19 green certification will access to venues.  The certification must state that they took at least one dose of vaccine from 15 days or have tested negative to a molecular or rapid swab in the previous 48 hours or have recovered from COVID-19 in the previous six months. This provision does not apply to people excluded by age from the vaccination campaign (12 years of age) and to people exempt on the basis of appropriate medical certification.

The staff of the venue must check the validity of the certificate. An identity document may also be requested to verify that the spectator's identity.

Access to places of entertainment is also compulsory to:

- wearing a protective mask over the nose and mouth

- inter-personal distance of at least 1 metre

- temperature measurement. People with a body temperature of more than 37.5 °C will not be admitted and will be asked to leave the venue immediately.

- sanitising your hands on entering and leaving the event.

The event can only be enjoyed in fixed seats. It is therefore not permitted to swap places or occupy different seats, even if they are free. The seats have been positioned in compliance with the regulations in force to fully respect safety distances, as well as access routes, internal routes and exit routes.

We recommend to

- purchase your ticket or reserve your seat in advance, preferably via the online ticket office.

- arrive in advance in order to carry out all the safety procedures established by the Organiser

The personal data (name, surname, contact details) of all spectators are kept for 14 days from the date of the event.

Failure to comply with any point of the regulations and, in particular, any action that results in the impossibility of respecting the required personal distance and the rules for the protection of individual and public health, will result in the impossibility of participating in the show or the removal from the venue.

Tickets for performances that may be cancelled due to any indications issued by the competent authorities regarding the Covid-19 emergency may be refunded, subject to an explicit request to be made by e-mail to within 15 days of the date of the event.
