Oriente Occidente celebrates 30 years of activity dancing through the World
Shows of
Sankai Juku from Asia,
Abou Lagraa and
Germaine Acogny from Africa,
Alwin Nikolais and
Leonardo Cuello from America,
Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker from Europe. The choreographies of contemporary artists will celebrate the 30 year birthday of Oriente Occidente, one of the most important International dancing event, with co-productions with some of the major festivals and European theatres. World or Italian premiere with music played live and performers coming from the most interesting contemporary cultural tendencies. Among all, the Italian performances of
Paola Vezzosi and
Carla Rizzu, winners of Danz’è 2009, Linguaggi section with meetings and conferences and the national competition Danz’è reserved to the young choreographers.
